GALLIEROCK
Musée Galliera is presently closed. However, it will soon open its gates to honor, for the first time ever, the semi forgotten French designer, star of the 80's, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
As kitsch and surreal as ever, the emperor of overplay invites you into a space on heavy vitamin overdose! A giant Rubik’s® cube pulsates with acidic colors. Napoléonic, Jean d'Arc-ish and other historic elements blend with some of his sellouts such as teddy bear adorned sweaters, rock icons and cartoons, ponchos for two, postcard raincoats and other visual farrago! A compilation from the 40 years of art and pop-culture inspired labor. Gallierock gave JC/DC carte blanche, and he took them up on it choreographing and producing the whole endeavor. Bring a pair of sunglasses!
